2008 AAA High School Travel Challenge Takes A Vacation!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Orlando, FL October 22, 2007

The annual AAA Travel High School Challenge has experienced significant growth in student participation and awareness among schools, scholarship websites and print/electronic media outlets since its inception in 2003.

We believe that the opportunity exists for this unique program to grow bigger and better in its efforts to reward high school students on their geographic literacy and build awareness of careers in the travel and tourism industry.

As a result, the AAA Travel High School Challenge is being suspended for one year. During this period, a thorough analysis of the event will be conducted to develop strategies and tactics for an improved program. This process is expected to take several months to complete and we intend to have strategic recommendations by March 2008.

Please check back at this website for updates on our progress for 2009 and beyond.
