Phoenix, Ariz., April 24, 2009. AAA Arizona is opening a new Phoenix branch office next week, a move to better serve centrally located members. The new facility is scheduled to open Monday, April 27, at 742 E. Glendale Ave., Suite 182, in Phoenix.

To better serve its members in the central Phoenix corridor, the new branch office will be open during  regular business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will extend its services into the weekend with office hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

“When we looked at our member base, we determined we needed an office that was more centrally located to better serve our members,” said Jim Lehrer, vice president of member experience and distribution for AAA Arizona. “The new location will provide members with the same high quality insurance and travel products they know and trust; in addition, our new Saturday hours will serve as an added convenience for members.”

AAA Arizona’s previous branch office was located in the AAA Arizona Headquarters at 3144 N. 7th Avenue. The branch office officially closed April 22, however, administrative and support operations will remain at that location. AAA Arizona also has branch offices in Chandler, Gilbert, Goodyear, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Peoria, Prescott, Scottsdale, Sun City and Tucson, to serve its members throughout the state.

AAA Arizona, the Arizona affiliate of AAA, provides automotive, insurance and auto travel services to nearly 800,000 Arizona members.  Annually, AAA’s Emergency Road Service responds to more than 450,000 calls for help on the streets and highways of the state as well as providing insurance, travel, and financial services to AAA members and motorists.  Since its founding in 1927, AAA Arizona has been a leading advocate for the safety and security of all travelers.
