Distracted driving: what do you think?

Under its umbrella concept of lifelong mobility, AAA Colorado is committed to educating and advocating for numerous safety issues that will benefit all motorists, passengers and pedestrians. These include:

. Child passenger safety

. Teen driving

. Distracted driving

. Mature mobility

Recent examples of AAA Colorado's safety efforts include the push for teen passenger restrictions (successfully passed into law in 2005), and the 2005/2006 work to change Colorado's seat belt law from secondary enforcement to primary enforcement.

AAA Colorado commits to specific issues after reviewing safety studies, roadway statistics, consulting with local and national safety organizations, and listening to members about what your concerns are.

One of the ways AAA Colorado determines member concerns is by participating in a AAA nationwide survey of members about traffic safety. A statistically significant amount of Colorado members are randomly selected to receive the survey.

In an effort to get an even broader base of member feedback, AAA Colorado has repeated three of the survey's key questions here and hopes you will take a moment to answer them.

Look for the results in the September/October issue of EnCompass, and thank you for taking the time to respond.
