Muncie Office to Host Kids Safety Day
Indianapolis, IN (Apr.
23, 2008) – AAA
Hoosier Motor Club’s Muncie office (4351 W. Clara Lane) will
host Kids Safety Day May 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its
parking lot, which is located in front of Lowe’s Home
Improvement Warehouse.
The event is being held in
celebration of National Safe Kids Week (Apr. 26 through May
4).
On-site Delaware County Safe
Kids Coalition safety stations will provide:

Child
passenger safety seat inspections
·
A seat belt
fitting test
·
Trunk
entrapment information
·
An interactive
“Spot the Tot” display for safety while backing up in a
vehicle
·
“Never Leave
Your Child Alone” information
·
Fire safety
information
Free DNA identification kits
and smoke detectors (one smoke detector per family) will be
available while supplies last.
Additional partners working
with AAA Hoosier Motor Club to make this event possible are
the Delaware County Health Department, Lowe’s, Sam Pierce
Chevrolet and the Delaware County Safe Kids Coalition.
The event is free and open
to the public.
