Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills Contest Set for Tomorrow
Morning
Indianapolis, IN (Apr.
24, 2008) – The
hands-on portion of Indiana’s Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills
contest will take place tomorrow morning (Apr. 25) from 9:15
a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the rear parking lot of the Holiday
Inn Select – Airport in Indianapolis (2501 South High School
Road).
The 10 state finalist teams, each consisting of 2 students,
qualified for tomorrow’s competition by taking written exams
earlier this spring.
During the hands-on competition, those students will race
against the clock to diagnose and repair identically
“bugged” vehicles while competing for scholarships and a
chance to represent Indiana in the National Finals, which
will take place at
Ford Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, June 24.
