AAA Teen Driver Safety Event Thursday
Indianapolis, IN (July
24, 2007) – AAA
Hoosier Motor Club will host its first ever Teen Driver
Safety Event this Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the
parking lot of its administrative building—3750 Guion Rd.
(near W. 38th St.) in Indianapolis.
Additionally, NASCAR rookie
David Ragan, driver of the No. 6 AAA Insurance Ford Fusion,
will pay a visit to talk about safe driving. Ragan, 21, has
spent time with teens across the nation, sharing AAA’s
message of safe driving, while traveling on the NASCAR
circuit this season.

TIME: This Thursday
(July 26, 2007) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
LOCATION: AAA
Hoosier Motor Club’s administrative building parking
lot—3750 Guion Road (near W. 38th St.) in
Indianapolis.
REASON: According to
the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, vehicle
crashes are the leading cause of teen deaths.
SPECIFICS: Students
from three of AAA Hoosier Motor Club’s Approved Driving
School Network (ADSN) affiliates—American Driving Academy
(formerly Burkhardt’s Driver Education), AA Indiana Driving
School and Drive Zone—will navigate and evaluate a
pre-established cone-lined course.
The event is free and open to the public but only students
from the three attending ADSN schools will be allowed to
participate in the driving exercise.

GUEST:
NASCAR driver David Ragan, driver of the No. 6 AAA Insurance
Ford Fusion, will pay a visit to talk about safe driving.
Ragan, who will be in town for the NASCAR Busch Series race
at O’Reilly Raceway Park July 28 as well as the NASCAR
NEXTEL Cup Series race at the world-famous Indianapolis
Motor Speedway July 29, is expected to be available to the
media during the Teen Driver Safety Event from approximately
11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
