Kokomo Office to Host Indy 500 Fan Tour Tomorrow
Indianapolis, IN (May 14,
2007) – AAA
Hoosier Motor Club’s Kokomo
office (3551 S. LaFountain St.) will host the Indy 500 Fan
Tour tomorrow from 3:30 p.m. to
5:30 p.m.
A 35-foot trailer, adorned with the 2007 Indianapolis 500
logo, will be on-site and filled with images illustrating
the events that make the Indianapolis 500 the world’s
largest single-day sporting event.
Other components of the Indy 500 Fan Tour, which is free for
fans of all ages, include:
•A full-size IndyCar Series simulator
•Various collectables from drivers who have competed in the
Indianapolis 500, including a collection of helmets from
past and current drivers and a pair of driving gloves from
two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves
•An IndyCar Series safety display complete with in-car crash
box with warning lights
•Pieces of brick and asphalt from the famed 2.5-mile oval
The Indy 500 Fan Tour is
designed to bring the thrill and anticipation of the
Indianapolis 500 to fans. The Tour is traveling across
Indiana
and throughout the Midwest from now through May 27.
