| Thru 11/22 | Exhibit | The Lancaster Museum of Art will host a reception for Scott Wright. He is known for his large-scale paintings that grow out of digital photographs taken while over-flying the rivers, marshes, and landforms of the Mid-Atlantic region in a small plane. | 11/17 | Event | Chairs, Chairs, Chairs!!! As the Cumberland County Historical Society kicks off the "Year of the Chair," we are inviting the public and our members to a program and book signing on Tuesday at 7:00pm by local author and historian Merri Lou Schaumann. Her presentation will explore the colorful world of plank bottom chairs and the Cumberland County men who made them. This free program will be held at the Cumberland County Historical Society. Friendship Community will be hosting a Harmony Concert starting at 7:00pm on Saturday, November 21. The concert will be held at the Forest Hills Mennonite Church. This unique event brings together the following musical groups: Forest Hills Men's Ensemble, Landisville Mennonite Church Men's Quartet, Spare Parts, and Friendship Five. The free-will offering will benefit Friendship Community, a non-profit, Christian ministry serving people with developmental disabilities.

The Harrisburg Symphony presents Joseph Haydn's masterpiece, The Creation, will be performed by the Harrisburg Symphony under the direction of Maestro Stuart Malina November 21 and 22 at the Forum in Harrisburg. The oratorio follows the creation of the world as it is described in the biblical Book of Genesis. Performances will be held November 21 at 8:00pm and November 22 at 3:00pm. The Masonic Village and Elizabethtown Model Railroad Club will hold an open house on Dec. 5 & 6, from 2:00-4;00 p.m. Come see the club's O-gauge, HO-gauge, N-gauge, Z-gauge and standard gauge trains and trolleys laid on 1,200 feet of track!
