Exploring The Beautiful City Of Stockholm, Sweden

I'm often asked what are my favorite cities from around the world. Stockholm always comes to mind and having recently spent even more time in Sweden's beautiful capital, I would say Stockholm is one of my top choices - and one that I completely recommend to all of you. Surrounded by water on all sides and called the "Venice of the North", Stockholm is a fantastic walking and biking city bursting with trendy designer shoppes, cozy outdoor cafes, historic Royal palaces and the world-famous Vasa Maritime Museum (which just won the 2009 Global Trip Award) - actually, Stockholm boasts 75-museums - so there's something for all interests. While we were visiting in August, I spent several hours with Josefin Haraldsson, Stockholm Visitors Board Project Cruise Manager & Tourism Manager for the USA. Josefin will be my in-studio guest next Saturday from 3pm-4pm on "Let's Talk Travel with AAA" on WHP580. Joining us will be Mathias Andersson, Marketing Manager for the Swedish National Maritime Museums.
