Theft Reward

If your car is stolen, AAA offers a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone stealing, vandalizng or causing hit-and-run damage to a vehicle registered in the name of a AAA member.

AAA offers a $2,000 reward for information leading to
the arrest and conviction of anyone stealing, vandalizing or causing hit-and-run damage to a vehicle
registered in the name of a AAA Plus member.

Understandably, you and members of your immediate family are not eligible to collect the Theft Reward for your own vehicle. Immediate family members include parent, mother/father-in-law, son, daughter, son/daughter-in-law, spouse, grandparent and grandchild.

To Apply for a Theft Reward:

• Contact AAA at (800) 441-5008 for a Theft Reward application
• File the following documents with the application:
  • Police Report
  • Court Record - that proves person eligible gave testimony that lead to the conviction of person(s) charged with the incident involving the member's vehicle.
  • For reward claims involving vandalism or hit-and-run damage, documentation of the dollar amount of damage to member's vehicle

Restrictions:

• Date of fliing for reward must be less than sixty (60) days from conviction
• Rewards for vandalism or hit-and-run damage will be equal to the dollar amount of damage to the member's vehicle, up to a maximum of $500. ($2,000 for AAA Plus members.)
• Theft Reward applies to theft of entire vehicle.
• Law enforcement officers are not eligible for reward.
