AAA and ©The Walt Disney Company created an alliance several years ago. One of our ongoing goals is to provide our AAA members with exclusive savings and benefits for their Disney vacations. Look at what is new for 2001!

Private viewing areas
When members book a Discovery, Deluxe or Grand Plan Walt Disney World® Resort Vacation package through AAA Vacations, only available at AAA offices, they will receive admission to private viewing areas for evening events. In the MAGIC KINGDOM® Park, members have access to the Plaza Pavillion for the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks. In Epcot®, members can view the "2001 Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" from the Morocco Boat Landing. Members will receive a voucher with their documents, and can call within 45 days of travel to reserve their spot. Certain blackout dates apply.

Advance Golf Tee Times
This new bonus benefit allows AAA members who book select vacation packages the ability to reserve golf tee times 150 days in advance. A three-night minimum hotel stay is required. Guests can make their reservations by calling 1-407-WDW-GOLF.

Bonus Benefits for Resort Guests
In addition to the new benefits above, our bonus benefits include a guest answer book, collectible AAA Vacation baggage tags, a commemorative Disney Trading Pin, access to the AAA VIP lounge, and preferred parking at the theme parks.

AAA Diamond Card for Disney land and cruise guests
This benefit was also improved and expanded for 2001. The AAA Diamond Card provides AAA Vacations travel clients special savings and values on selected meals, merchandise and recreation in the resorts. New for 2001, the Disney Cruise Line Diamond Card will entitle members to exclusive onboard benefits including 10 percent off on-board merchandise with a minimum $75 purchase, and also receive 10 percent off non-motorized watercraft rentals, bicycle rentals, floats, and snorkel rentals at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private Bahamian Island. This is in addition to the free gift members receive in their cabin!

Enhanced dollar savings on AAA’s popular "Magic Moments" Packages
For 2001, AAA now offers savings of up to 20% off the room portion of the 2001 AAA Vacations packages, subject to availability. Travis Flexer, our Disney Desk Specialist in our Tilghman Street Vacation store says, "This is a change that represents substantial additional savings from the prior benefit of savings up to $200. For example, in just two of the packages I booked AAA members in 2001, the additional savings ranged from another $234 to $338."

New Benefits at the Disneyland© Resort in California.
This February, Disney will open a new theme park called Disney’s California Adventure Park, located next to Disneyland. Watch for more details in the upcoming Traveler.
