Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked Membership questions:
Replacement/ Lost Membership Card
New membership cards are sent out every year along with the first renewal notice approximately 6 weeks before your renewal date. If you need a replacement card, please contact our membership center directly at: 1-800-JOIN-AAA (564-6222), as there is normally a $3 per card fee for reprints.
Moving out of AAA Southern New England Territory
Please contact our Membership Department directly at: 1-800-JOIN-AAA (564-6222) or if calling from outside the local calling area, please call 401-868-2000 ext 7582. A Membership Service Counselor will be able to update your account and transfer your membership to the proper servicing Club.
Upgrading to AAA Plus
AAA Plus is available once a member has been an active Basic cardholder for at least 1 year and must also meet certain eligibility requirements. Our membership service counselors will be able to assist you with checking eligibility. For this reason, it is not available online.
Please contact our Membership Department directly at: 1-800-JOIN-AAA (564-6222); or you may visit your local AAA branch office for assistance.
Remove/Cancel/Delete Associate
The option to remove an associate is unavailable online for security purposes. Please contact our Membership Department directly at: 1-800-JOIN-AAA (564-6222). A Membership Service Counselor will be happy to update your account accordingly.
Online Membership Verification
If your online user account shows your membership number as "N"; there are a few possible causes.
Normally it takes up to 48 hours for our online system to be updated with new membership information or late payments/renewals. Until this update is complete, you may use your membership for member services in person at your local AAA branch office or by phone.
If your membership lapsed beyond 90 days, you will need to re-instate your account with our Membership Department directly at 1-800-JOIN-AAA (564-6222). For out of state calls, please call 401-868-2000 Ext. 7582.
Online Gift Membership Renewal
The Gift ID number is listed on the gift membership renewal bill. If you do not have the renewal bill for the gift membership, please contact our Membership Department and they will be able to provide your Gift ID number for you.
