Want to learn more about bicycle, pedestrian, or school bus safety? Looking for a program that prepares your teenager for driving—or helps the senior citizen in your life sharpen motoring skills?
Well, you’ve come to the right place here at AAA Southern New England, where Traffic Safety Education Specialist Diana Imondi Dias brings her fun and informative programs to schools, police stations, and senior centers across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
“Dare to Prepare,” geared toward teenagers and their parents, covers everything from state driving rules and restrictions, to drunk driving issues, to parental policies regarding the use of the family car.
“Older Wiser Driver” helps seniors review and refresh driving skills, and improve reflexes and reaction time on the road.
Diana also heads up AAA Southern New England’s AAA School Safety Patrol Program, and organizes the club’s annual Traffic Safety Poster Contest. Both programs promote safety and reward student safety leaders in schools. Diana, who is also a trained child passenger safety technician, says of her popular programs, “They’re fun. I love being able to be creative with what I teach, to tailor the program to the audience.”
If you’d like to schedule an informational seminar, contact Diana Imondi Dias at AAA Southern New England’s Public Affairs office.
