A Brief History
of AAA

Manager of Traffic Safety
and the AAA Car Doctor

John has spent his entire career in the automotive business. With over 34 years of experience in the automotive field, he is a regular guest on many radio and television programs and has appeared on Good Morning America.
  For the past 23 years, John has been employed with AAA Southern New England. He is the Manager of Traffic Safety and has come to be known as AAA’s Car Doctor. John writes new car reviews, feature articles, and a question and answer column in the monthly publication AAA Horizons. His articles are also syndicated to other AAA clubs.
  John hosts the “Car Doctor” radio program, Saturday mornings on WROL AM950 (www.wrolboston.com) from 9-10, and writes weekly automotive columns for The Providence Journal, Boston.com, and Worcester.com.
  John’s credentials include certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence as a Master Automobile Technician with additional certifications in Advanced Engine Performance and Alternative Fuels. John holds a vocational teaching certificate from the State of Massachusetts, and is a member of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers. John is an accredited instructor for AAA Driver Improvement Program and is a certified automotive appraiser. John is also an Affiliate member in good standing of the Society of Automotive Engineers, a member of the International Motor Press Association and Past President of the New England Motor Press Association.

John sits on several advisory boards for traffic safety and education within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island.
