Prices resumed a more normal difference today between Knoxville
and Tri-Cities, with all four East Tennessee
cities showing considerable drops. Knoxville’s lowest signboard prices are
reading as much as 18 cents-per-gallon lower than comparable Tri-Cities prices
today, a change from the unusual patterns of recent weeks.
Drivers should make sure their cars are in good shape, take public
transit where possible, and combine trips to reduce gasoline use. Other
suggestions are in AAA’s Gas Watcher’s
Guide, free at AAA offices, and on the web at www.aaaet.com.
