See The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, a tradition that was started in 1933, while you glide gracefully around The Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center. The Rink first opened Christmas Day of 1936 and, since then, has attracted a quarter of a million visitors each year. And if it´s a panoramic view you are looking for, view the dramatic city lights from the newly opened "Top of the Rock," the 70th floor of the Center.

Shows and entertainment will not be limited on this tour. Be part of the celebration as Radio City Christmas Spectacular celebrates 75 years. You will experience the exhilarating magic of this year´s spectacular celebration − snow will fall, the glow of fireworks will light up the stage, and the Rockettes will debut dazzling new numbers. Enjoy a New York City tradition and attend a Broadway show. Then, see how the backstage world really works during a tour of NBC Studios headquarters. You´ll start and end at the "NBC Experience," which includes interactive features, a 3 screen high−definition (HDTV) theater, and a candy store that features a three−dimensional map of the city laid out on the floor. The tour´s first stop is a video tour of NBC´s history (which dates back to 1926). You will also spend time on two or three of the studios. Where your tour will take you is based on production schedules and special events that day. You will also enjoy the display of costumes and props which line the corridors near Studio 8H. Look in particular for the Conehead suits and the Killer Bees costumes. After touring the studios, you´ll stop at a mini−control room that was built especially for tour visitors. It provides an opportunity for several members of the tour group to see themselves on TV while demonstrating the technological processes that are involved in creating a news broadcast. The final stop is the NBC/Panasonic HDTV Theatre. Using NBC clips from the past and present, you´ll see what the future of television might be like in High Definition.
