Monastiráki
This bustling area surrounds Monastiráki square, named after a former monastery on this site. Today the square's focal point
is the 18th-century Tzistarakis Mosque, a relic of Turkish rule, which houses the Keramiki Silogi (Museum of Greek Ceramics).
However, most people head straight for Monastiráki's famous flea market, where you can find anything from clothes and kebabs
to icons and compact discs. Sunday is the big day.
