Lord Howe Island

( Highly Recommended )

A true South Sea paradise. Dominated by sheer peaks this World Heritage-listed small island is just 11km long and 2.8km at its widest. The high peaks and lower, scattered hills were created by volcanic activity, and below these lie Kentia palm forests, idyllic sandy beaches, a fringing coral reef, and the clear blue waters of the island's lagoon, home to over 500 fish species. Visitors are well catered for with various grades of accommodation.
