Darling Harbour

( Do not miss )

With its harbourside shopping and eating complexes, the delightful Chinese Garden, the Imax Theatre and National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour is one of Sydney's most popular recreation areas. One of the best attractions is the Sydney Aquarium, where you will encounter sharks, crocodiles and colourful Great Barrier Reef fish at close quarters. The futuristic building of the Australian National Maritime Museum contains several galleries covering maritime themes as diverse as the discovery of Australia and surfboard technology. Many of the exhibits are interactive. Moored outside are various vessels, including a World War II destroyer and a submarine.
