Containing the world's best collection of Australia's unique flora, these gardens feature more than 600 species of eucalyptus trees, a rockery, the delightful rainforest gully, and a Tasmanian alpine garden. Self-guided arrow trails make it easy to find your way around.
Looming behind the gardens is Black Mountain (779m), capped by the futuristic Telstra Tower. There is a spectacular view of the city and surrounding countryside from this structure's viewing gallery.
