The Eastern border guards' hut was taken down in 1990 and moved to the Deutsches Historisches Museum on Unter den Linden. The site has a display (Mauermuseum) of paraphernalia and photographs illustrating the effects of the wall and various escape attempts. A video on the history of the wall includes a look at the graffiti artists who decorated the Western side.
