Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche
The landmark Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche (Kaiser William Memorial Church) is worth visiting as a memorial to the devastation
of World War II. The 19th-century Romanesque hall was all that remained of Kaiser Wilhelm II's church after the 1943 air raids;
it has been left as it was, and a modern octagonal chapel and hexagonal blue stained-glass tower were added to it from 1959
to 1961. Inside, the church displays a cross of nails donated by Coventry, in Britain - another city devastated by bombs.
