ELECTRICITY
Denmark has a 220-volt power supply. Electrical sockets take plugs with two round pins; American appliances will need a plug
adapter and will require a transformer if they do not have a dual-voltage facility.
RESTROOMS
Public restrooms (toiletterne) are easy to find, clean, well equipped and usually free. They are often indicated by a
symbol, or marked WC or Damer (women) and Herrer (men).
PHOTOGRAPHY
Denmark is not renowned for bright sunshine and the winter months have short daylight hours, so pack plenty of 200 ASA-speed
film. Check that photography is permitted before taking pictures in museums. Film and camera batteries are sold in tourist
stores, and rapid-developing services are widely available.
