ELECTRICITY
Luxembourg has a 220-volt power supply. Electrical sockets take plugs with two round pins; American appliances will need a
plug adapter and will require a transformer if they do not have a dual-voltage facility.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms (toilettes) are usually clean, modern and easy to find. They may also be called “WC” (pronounced vay-say). Coin-operated
facilities exist; those with an attendant usually charge 20¢.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Luxembourg enjoys a temperate climate, and the light is good. Check that photography is permitted before taking pictures in
museums. Film and camera batteries can be bought from tourist stores, and rapid-developing services are widely available.
