Sé
Construction of the Sé (Cathedral) started in 1150, soon after the expulsion of the Moors. It was the city's first church,
a solid and harmonious Romanesque edifice. Its two massive towers are a city landmark. It largely escaped damage in the 1755
earthquake, making it a superb symbol of Lisbon's history. Inside, be sure to see the font where Lisbon-born St. Anthony
of Padua was baptized.
