Parque das Nações
The Parque das Nações (Park of the Nations), the site occupied by Expo '98, is now used for trade fairs and exhibitions. Striking
buildings, moorings, landscaped gardens, street cafés and restaurants front the Tagus. From the water rises Oceanário (Oceanarium),
a state of-the-art aquarium that was the focal point of the 1998 fair. Europe's largest aquarium features a vast central tank,
surrounded by four others representing the main oceans. Marine mammals and seabirds thrive, as well as fish, underwater creatures
and vegetation, making this one of Lisbon's most impressive new attractions.
