Their mascot is Chu-lin, the giant panda, but the zoo prides itself on having other rare species, such as red pandas and white tigers. The new aviary has been an instant hit, with 60 birds of prey flying free. Recently re-landscaped, the park looks more attractive than of old. Small children enjoy the little train and also boat rides on the canal, which give a different view of the animals and provides a rest for tired feet! There are plenty of places to eat here.
