In addition to the above, pharmacies and stores are open on Saturday from 9-noon or 9-4 and some shops are open on Sunday.
The bigger towns usually have late-night shopping on Thursday or Friday until 8:30 or 9pm. Some smaller shops close at lunchtime
on Saturdays. Local convenience stores ("dairies") are usually open from 7am - 8pm seven days a week. Times of museum opening
vary and many are open at weekends, too - for details see individual museums listed in the What to See section of this guide.
