University Museum of Natural History

The University Museum of Natural History is housed in a 19th-century building in Italianate Gothic style, its facade embellished with carvings. The interior is a single open space, surrounded by an ambulatory and forested with slender iron columns that support a wrought-iron vault and glass roof. Exhibits range from dinosaur skeletons to minerals and fossils. Visitors can access the Pitt Rivers Museum from the rear of the building.
