PHOTOGRAPHY

What to photograph: Paris's monumental buildings and animated Parisians drinking in pavement cafés.

Where you need permission to photograph: certain museums will allow you to photograph inside. In churches with mural paintings and icons where flashlight is required permission must be sought first.

Where to buy film: shops and photo laboratories sell the most popular brands and types of film. Rapid film development is possible but quite expensive.

WHEN DEPARTING

Contact the airport or airline on the day prior to leaving to ensure flight details are unchanged.
