Some shops close for lunch. Most shops open Saturday until 12 noon or 1pm. Food shops open from 7am; department stores and
large shopping centres open until 8pm (4pm Saturday); gift shops generally 10am-10pm. Outside Prague centre, shops close on
Sunday. Some pharmacies open 24 hours. Banks vary, some open Saturday morning. Museums and art galleries usually open from
9/10am to 5/6pm; they are closed Mondays. Castles, chateaux and other historical monuments open daily (except Monday) May
to September and weekends in April and October, but may be closed other times; please check.
