Medical

Open Access Plus Plan

The Open Access Plus Plan allows you to receive services from any licensed provider, but provides a higher level of benefits from services you receive from network providers.


Full time associates are eligible for the above medical plans after 30 days.

 

Health Care Flexible Spending Account

Allows you set up to $2,500 aside to cover out-of-pocket healthcare costs for medical, dental, and vision expenses. Dollars set aside are tax-free – you pay no taxes when you contribute, or withdraw. Full time associates are eligible after 30 days.

 

Dental

Preferred Provider Plan

The Preferred Provider Plan allows you to see any dentist you choose. A higher benefit is provided for in-network and Preferred Provider dentists. Full time associates are eligible after 30 days.

 

Vision

VisionCare Basic

Provides a yearly eye exam with a network provider for a small co-pay. Discounts are available on frames, lenses, contact lenses and LASIK eye surgery. AAA pays 100% of the cost.

 

VisionCare Plus

In addition to the benefits of the Basic plan, the Plus plan covers frames and lenses for minimal co-pay. In lieu of frames and lenses, you may receive an allowance towards contact lenses.


Full time associates are eligible for the above vision plans after 30 days.

 

Retirement

Thrift/Savings Plan

Associates may contribute a portion of their pay on a pre-tax basis to the 401(k) plan. AAA will match 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% that you contribute. Associates are eligible immediately.

 

Retirement Savings Account (RSA)

AAA contributes to a Retirement Savings Account for each eligible associate. Associates are eligible to participate after one year of service in which they work 1,000 hours. Eligible participants are vested after three years of participation.

 

Disability

Short-Term Disability

Provides wage protection at 50% or 65% of your pay for illnesses (including maternity) for up to six months. Full time associates are eligible after 90 days.

 

Long Term Disability

One of AAA’s top ranked benefits, long term disability is provided to you at no cost. Long term disability picks up where short term disability leaves off – at the six month mark. Coverage is for 66 2/3% of your salary. Full time associates are eligible after 90 days.

 

Life Insurance

Basic Life Insurance

AAA pays for up to two times your benefit base pay at no cost to you. Emergency medical assistance to travelers is provided as part of your life insurance benefit.

 

Supplemental Life Insurance

You may elect additional life insurance coverage at one, two or three times your base benefit rate.

 

Dependent Spouse Life Insurance

Provides coverage for your spouse in the amount of $10,000, $25,000, or $50,000.

 

Dependent Child Life Insurance

Provides coverage for your children in the amount of $5,000.

 

Full time associates are eligible for the above life insurance plans immediately.

 

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Basic AD&D

AD&D at one times your benefit base pay is offered at no cost to you. AD&D provides coverage in case of accidental death or loss of limb or eyesight.

 

Supplemental AD&D

Coverage of one, two, three or four times your base benefit rate is available.

 

Travel Accident Insurance

For associates traveling on company business, additional protection for accidental death or loss of limb or eyesight is provided at no cost to you. Full time associates are eligible immediately.

 

Incentive Plan

Participating associates are eligible for an annual incentive award of up to 4 1/2 weeks pay based on measurements covering financial, customer satisfaction and individual goals.
