COMING TO AMERICA

We went to America - Los Angeles to see a concert by O-town and Destinys Child. We had the time of our lives. We spoke to O-town face 2 face and they bought us dinner. Angel spoke to Ashley, Linze spoke to Jacob, and Melanie spoke to Trevor and finally Michelle spoke to Erik.

OVER THE BRIDGE & THROUGH THE WOODS

The best vacation I had was when we went to Pennsylvania to go camping in a cabin at the Kinzua East Koa in Bradford.There is all kinds of nature things to do. We rented a boat and boated on the Kinzua Lake, loads of hiking trails, and my favorite was the train ride over the Kinzua Bridge. It was 301 feet high and 2056 feet long. Hope you all get to go there some time.

DIARY OF FUN

We went to Dominican Republic. There it was the life! I was there for seven days! The first day I went to the pool! The second day I went to the beach and hottub! The third day I went to the beach! The fourth day I went in the ocean to the deep end! The fifth day I got my hair braided! The sixth day I went on paddle boats and sat under a bar for three hours because it was raining! The seventh day I went home happily ever after!

THE MEXICAN WAY

Well I think was this was my best vacation. I just got back from it yesterday. I went on many adventures such as horse back riding, snorkeling, and surfing and much much more adventures. Oh yeah, I went to Mexico. I stayed at Costa Azul. I ate at the same restaurant every night because it was included in the hotel. Well I HAVE TO GO. BYE!

BRAVE SOUL

The BEST vacation I had was when I went to King's Island. It's a place for all you brave people because the rides are wild. It's not a place for people who like tame (lame) rides. My favorite ride was called face off.

CABIN FEVER

Every year, our family takes a vacation to Traverse City Michigan. My grandma and cousins live there. We stay in a cabin on Spider Lake. It is pretty and quiet and I get to fish as much as I want. I usually catch bass. We go to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and usually drive up one day to Charlevoix and go on a sail boat that takes us out onto Lake Michigan. We eat at a restaurant there that is right by a bridge that raises up to let boats pass on their way to Lake Michigan. One year we went on a huge masted schooner that goes out into Grand Traverse Bay. We get to go tubing on Spider Lake, which is my favorite thing to do. A sea plane comes by if you call and will take you for rides up over the lake. My mom and dad have gone every year to this same place (Oaks Resort) for 11 years! I can't wait to go again!

OLYMPIC STAR

The best holiday I ever had, was more of a trip than an actual holiday. I went to the Olympic Stadium, to star in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Sydney, 2000. I was representing youth, when I skipped across the "beach", smeared suncream on my cheeks and lay down on my beach towel. It was the best trip to the "beach" I have ever had!!!

BUSY BEE VACATION

Our best vacation was in the white mountains in New Hampshire. They have all kinds of things to do - bears, caves, trains, places to eat, horseback riding, sitting in the river and walking over the rocks - all kinds of stuff for kids like us - oh yeah, and our parents too.

We went to the Black Hills. I enjoyed Mount Rushmore. I also visited the Crooked House. We drove a long ways to get there.

FUN-PACKED FAMILY VACATION

The best vacation I had was the one we just went on. For spring break me, my mom, dad, brother and sister, my uncle, aunt and my two cousins went to Orlando Florida and we went to Disneys Epcot, Mgm, and Magic Kingdom the first day (we wanted to go to Animal Kingdom too but we didn't know that that closed at 5:30 and it was too late to go).
The next morning we hung out at the pool all day ( we all got real sunburned even though mom and my aunt put on sunblock on all of us.) The next day we went to Univesal Studios Island of Adventures - it was great! I rode everything in Seuss Land and I rode the Spiderman ( that was the best) I also loved Jurassic Park because there are cool things to do there.
If you go to Orlando take alot of sunblock, make sure it works so that you don't get all burned up like us. My uncle looked like a lobster and my face started to peel the next day. I didn;t mind the sunburn because my vacation was the best. We even went to the Pirates Adventure dinner show (mom says to mention that we got a good discount there using our AAA card!) The reason it was the best is because we did fun things and I was with my mom dad, sister,brother and aunt ,uncle and cousins all together.

My best vacation was when I went to Tennessee. It was so great. You can do most anything there. I went with my grandma and cousin. We did everything you can imagin. We went to Dollywood which is a Theme Park, and we went to arcades, mini-golf, helicopter rides, restaurants, went on an earthquake ride, and a ride that when you sit in a seat the chairs move. So if you are going to go to Tennessee I will tell you were you can find all of this great stuff. All of this fun stuff is in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So if you go HAVE FUN.

My best vacation was when I wnet to Florida with my mom,dad and sister. It was so fun. We got to go to every part at Disney World.The best part was that we did not have to wait in any lines. See we had these passes, and all you had to do was slid the pass through this one thing. Then this machine would give you a ticket, and what ever time you had on the ticket is when you come back and ride the ride.When we went to ride the ride everyone that had to wait in the long linesm looked angry. It was so funny, but it was so sad to when we had to leave but this summer I am so going back!!!

I went to Disney World with my family in March. My favorite thing was Animal Kingdom and the Hoop-De-Do Dinner show.

We went to Cherrystone Family Campground in Virginia last summer....they had pools, minigolf, playground, fishing, tennis...we went swimming in the ocean....We went to NASA Visitor Center...and we drove over to Williamsburg (Yorktown battlefield, Jamestown, etc)

Going to the state fair for the first time. I ate candy apples, cotton candy, elephant ears, and got on many rides. The best ride was the roller coaster. I got on that 4 times. I also saw a snakewoman and she really scared me.

I went to Colorado and did fun stuff. It was like really really cool man!!! We climbed a mountain and ate some food. Then we went skiing. AAA got us there with a map. They're really cool. Please print this so I get really famous!!!

We went to Virginia Beach last summer. It was great. It was the first time I saw the ocean. I collected sea shells and swam in the water. We ate out a lot, but mostly just hung out at the beach. My mom and dad liked it too, especially mom, cause she didn't have to clean up at the hotel. They had a lady do it for her. I hope we get to go again.

We went to disney world for my mom's wedding. What an awesome adventure that was for our whole family. People keep calling us the Brady Bunch but now we really are. Boy we thought we were never going to make it. The whole thing was one problem after another but Man what a GREAT time we all had. We stayed on the Boardwalk at Disney and to tell you the truth we asked mom and dad if next year we could go back and not do the parks. The great thing was that MGM and Epcot were within walking distance and there was just so much to do on the boardwalk and at the Pool. The pool had this amazing waterslide that mom says is supposed to remind you of a Coney Island roller coaster, and I say take me to Coney Island; which I understand is in New York where I am from. If you come from a blending family and your parents want a wedding that will make you believe in love, tell them to do Disney and make it a honeymoon for all of you; and remember to give them some quiet time cause they did take you.

Last year me, my sister and mom went to Disney World in Florida. We had the best time ever. This was the second time that I've been there, but this time was awesome. I loved all the parks, but my favorite was Disney MGM Studios. I love the Tower of Terror and the Rockin Rollercoaster. Well I guess I have to say I love all the attractions there, especially the Fantasmic night show. That was really beautiful. This year we will be going back to Disney World and also Universal Studios. I really love all the upside down rides, fast rides and even the scary rides at the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. I just can't wait to go back. I am already counting down the days until August.

Disney Cruise line was the best vacation I've ever been to. I saw a lot of characters. They had a lot of great food. We went to a private beach and we went to the pool everyday. I also joined a club where I did not have to stay with my mom. It was only for kids. There were moving pictures, kind of like TV's of characters in the restaurant and they changed colors and played movies while we ate. I hope Mom will take me there again.

My favorite summer vacation was when I spent time with my GrandMMother in Rochester. Rochester is in Upstate New York. When I got there I was impressed with the houses and its quiet in the night time and the area is clean there. One of the things that I like to do is go to her big pool with the bright clean water. I like to play with her dog Princess. She is a very nice dog that doesn't bother anyone. That was my favorite vacation because I really got to spend time with my grandmother. I also got to eat her delicious food, porkchops and mashed potatoes. She showed my how to cook and set the table too. When I left my grandmother's house I asked my mother if we would go back and she said probably.

MY best vacation from the summer of 2000 was when I went to Florida with my mom, dad, sister and cousin. The first time I got there with my family, me and my family went to my uncle's house. Then me and my cousin would go to the rides. The first ride I got on was the one were you sit on a seat and a string holds you in. It was very safe but very scary. This was my favorite vacation because I got to do what I've never done before.

My favorite vacation was going to Mexico because on the first day I met at least twelve or thirteen new friends. My family and I traveled by plane to get to Mexico. It took us six hours to get to Mexico. My family and I have a house in Santa Marta - that is one of the quietest places in Mexico. Some of the things I did was play lots of games. I almost won all of the games I played. Some of the games I played were butteadoes - its a name in spanish for baseball, but you have to hit the ball with your hand. Another game I played was hide and go seek at neight. It was much harder to find each other. I also played playstation with my new friends at my house. It was so funny because I started losing and my friends were winning. Then I started to win and my friends started to lose. That was the best vacation I ever had because that was the only time the whole family went together. That was also my best vacation because I had new friends to play with.

My best vacation was last summer,2000, when my family went to Newport Rhode Island to tour the Mansions. They were so beautiful and the tours were interesting. They also have a great beach in Middleton where you can find really big shells and dig for live clams then take them home and eat them. The ocean waves were bigger than i have ever seen. I can't wait to go back there this summer.

My family went to Macungie Pennsylvania for my cousin's 1st year birthday party and then we went to Sesame Place after the party. I had such a blast there! All the rides were so cool and I went down a really high water slide and loved it. My parents and I would like to go every year, when we go to Austin's birthday party.

My best vacation was when i went to see my relatives in California by myself. I went on a plane. It took 5 hours. When i got there we went to Disneyland. It was fantastic. My favorite ride was space mountain. My helpful hint for kids who are going on a long plane ride is to pack plenty of things to do.
