Lovell, founded by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1900, serves as the southern gateway to Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. A recreation area visitor center offering interpretive displays and movies is at the junction of US 310 and scenic US 14A. Lovell is said to be the “Rose City” of Wyoming due to the exceptional climate for growing these flowers. Area recreational pursuits include camping, fishing, hunting, water sports, hiking, snowmobiling and trail riding. Learn More...
