Description
Located on the North Samish River near the base of Chuckanut Mountain, Bow was first called Brownsville after pioneer settler William Brown, who established a sawmill here in the late 19th century. After a post office opened in 1901 Brown suggested the present name, that of a train station and district in London, England.
