DescriptionGrand Ronde is home to The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, a Native American reservation founded in the mid-19th century. The tribes host such annual events as the Veterans Powwow, which is held in early July and honors all veterans, and late August's Contest Powwow, one of the West Coast's largest.
