DescriptionGresham was founded in 1852 by pioneers who cut a trail through the wilderness as they came over Mt. Hood on their way to the Willamette Valley. Gresham is now the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge and the Mt. Hood recreation area and offers abundant recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking and skiing.
