DescriptionEastern Mercer County's first gristmill, built in 1799 by Valentine Cunningham, drew settlers to the village then known as Pine Grove. Several historical markers downtown on Broad Street describe noteworthy buildings, events and people related to Grove City. Three murals depict scenes related to the town's history; one is at 118 S. Broad St., one is at 201 S. Broad St. and the other is at 232 S. Broad St. Today's Grove City is a prosperous community best known as the home of Grove City College.

ShoppingDowntown offers more than a dozen small shops, but the big draw is Grove City Premium Outlets , I-79 and SR 208, where retailers include Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Gap, J. Crew, Nike and Polo Ralph Lauren.
