DescriptionThe delightful flavor of Scandinavia permeates Lindsborg, founded by a company of Swedish pioneers and farmers in 1869. Many Old World arts and crafts are practiced; studios of several Lindsborg artists feature woodcarvings, ceramics, pottery, metal craft and paintings. Svensk Hyllningsfest, held biennially (in odd-numbered years), celebrates the town's Swedish roots with music, a parade, arts and crafts, and a Friday night feast.
