DescriptionMaryville is named for Mary Graham, the first woman of European descent to settle in the village. She and her husband Amos built the first house in Maryville in 1844.
Mozingo Lake, 3 miles east on US 136, offers fishing, boating and hiking trails as well as camping and picnic areas.
