DescriptionOn the bluffs of the St. Croix River, Osceola was a popular stop for late 19th-century excursion steamboats. Passengers disembarked to follow a boardwalk to scenic Cascade Falls. Visitors today can duplicate that hike along a path leading to the waterfall. Interstate State Park, known for its cliffs, potholes and hiking trails, is a short drive north.
