DescriptionPalos Verdes Peninsula is contoured by three coves. The widest and most easily reached is Malaga Cove, next to Torrance City Beach on Paseo del Mar. Follow Paseo del Mar west to a turnout for Bluff Cove; a trail winds down to the rocky inlet. A short, steep hike off the roadside turnoff on Paseo del Mar reaches Lunada Bay, a sand and pebble cove. Note: Cliffs are steep and coves are not easily accessible. Collecting plants or animals is prohibited in all coves. Just north of the peninsula are Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan beaches.
