DescriptionFirst settled by German pioneers in 1794, Unionville received its name only after the town post office opened in 1849. With more than 20 original period buildings, Unionville's Main Street section has retained much of its late 19th-century charm. Main Street also has antique and specialty shops.
On the first weekend in June, the community celebrates its heritage with the Unionville Village Festival. The holiday season is welcomed with Olde Tyme Christmas in December.
