Description
Those who like to walk will find plenty of room in which to travel in Westfield. The Chautauqua Gorge extends 7 miles along a 100-foot-deep gorge between Westfield and Mayville. Barcelona Harbor offers fishing and a boat launch. It is the site of a historical lighthouse. Westfield is part of Chautauqua wine country, and several small wineries west of the city off US 20 offer wine tastings and guided tours in season.

Shopping
Westfield's streets are lined with various antiques shops, including Landmark Acres at 232 W. Main St. Pick up some locally grown and harvested produce, regional wines and fresh meats as well as artisan-made items like Amish baskets and handmade soaps at the Westfield Farmers' and Artisans' Market, E. Main (US 20) and S. Portage (US 394) streets at Moore Park; it's open Sat. 9-2, Memorial Day weekend-Sept. 30.
