Description
Numerous lakes in the vicinity of Willmar are the result of glaciers that melted millions of years ago. The city is the southern terminus of the 220-mile Glacial Ridge Trail, a circuitous but well-marked scenic drive. The route passes through Sibley State Park and several others before ending near Alexandria. Maps can be obtained from the convention and visitors bureau.
