Wolcott is the home of Fisher Bridge, one of two remaining covered railroad bridges in Vermont; both are retired, and the tracks have been removed. It also is the only railroad bridge with a full-length cupola, which allowed smoke to escape. Built in 1908, the bridge spans the Lamoille River. Heavy steel beams were placed beneath the bridge in 1968 so it could remain in use.
