Grouse Mountain is at 6400 Nancy Greene Way. Step into The Skyride, an aerial tramway, for a 1.6-kilometre (1 mi.) ride over Grouse Mountain's lofty Douglas firs to the mountaintop where, from a height of 1,100 metres (4,100 ft.), you'll see a breathtaking panorama of downtown Vancouver. On clear nights, gaze at the city's floodlit buildings and twinkling lights reflected in the harbor.

Crowd-pleasing winter activities include skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, ice-skating, sleigh rides, a Sliding Zone and Light Walk. In the summer, take in a helicopter tour, paragliding, ziplining and Mountain Ropes and Kids Tree Canopy Adventures; a 45-minute lumberjack show; a Birds in Motion demonstration featuring free-flying birds of prey; and guided or self-guiding interpretive walks that inform about area flora, fauna and geology.

Grouse Mountain also is home to the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife, a 2-hectare (5-acre) habitat also open year-round, is home to two orphaned grizzly bears.

Competitive locals and visitors can do the Grouse Grind (commonly referred to as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster”), a grueling 2.9-kilometre (1.8 mi.) climb up the mountain.

A complimentary summer shuttle service from Canada Place to Grouse Mountain is available with purchase of admission.

Guided tours are available. Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
