Bermuda Historical Society Museum is next to the public library at 13 Queen St. Displayed are china, silver, antique furniture, Bermudian coins, cedar carvings, personal belongings of Adm. Sir George Somers and sketches and models of early Bermuda ships. Somers was commander of the fleet carrying settlers to Virginia when it was shipwrecked off St. George's Island in 1609. Also featured is a collection of blue and white Canton porcelain and locally made silver spoons from 1727.
