Sugarcake House

Sugarcake House (Casa de Alfeñique) is 3 blks. n.e. of the Zócalo at Av. 4 Oriente and Calle 6 Norte. This 17th-century colonial mansion, named for its ornate exterior, was once a residence for visiting dignitaries. Now a museum, it has an archeological and historical collection on the first two floors; the third floor is furnished in period.
