High Level Bridge

High Level Bridge spans the Oldman River in Indian Battle Park, 1 km (.6 mi.) w. of jct. Scenic Dr. and 3rd Ave. S. Reputedly this is the longest and highest bridge of its type and construction in North America. The 1909 trestle bridge extends 1.6 kilometres (1 mi.) across the coulees and is 97 metres high (300 ft.). The best place to view the bridge is from the information center/rest area on the west end of 1st Avenue, south of Hwy. 3 on Brewery Hill.
